Throughout the past weeks we’ve discovered various implications/ trajectory for participatory culture and networked society through several innovations of digital composition and network rhetoric. Up and coming innovations of digital composition and network rhetoric are still in the process of being invented and or tested. Some digital sources are yet to be disclosed to the public but that doesn’t change the fact they are in progress to being made and or release. Relating to iPhone releases, the world knows the new iPhone is bound to show up and be release because Apple has a sense for releasing them in Sept, October or November, and if an iPhone is not released then the latest software for the iPhone 4s, 5c etc will be released in its place. When relating more to in class discussion we have discussed various sites and social media sites that have a high demand and implication on participatory culture, for example we talked about how YouTube was a way of spreading world wide knowledge and also an inventive way to broadcast elections, news reports and humors videos. Through a post of a YouTube video it also collaborates and is able to be posted on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter and etc. The connections of everything creates a sense of digital composition in a way, when looking at our laptop screens more than web browsers, or application is open and keeping us consistently distracted in a way. This is a process of network rhetoric in a way because it creates a world wide way of writing that is effect ion/ other compositional techniques that are viewed. A way we can use this to our benefits is to help educate society in the science or math. By having schools use various sites like freerice to create something that benefits foundational math skills and also provides food for the needy, we could be expanding the way we view a website for educational bases.. this is a potential development in electracy beyond entertainment. It’s taking something within a institution like a school, having kids get onto sites like freerice for their education and to benefit humanity. More sites like this would beneficial because it takes educational through an online site (for our digital generation) to creating something beneficial for society. Not only would more sites like freerice be beneficial but so would sites like luminosity, that “Challenge your brain with scientifically designed training.” to help build your memory and help your attention span. If it was possible to create more sites to help not only expand someones education but also to help society, its to my full knowledge the society would be better off. More people would have the basic knowledge that some take for granted and it could also help society and help feed the hungry, or help us live longer.
